All Saint's Day Party Recap Fall 2016

This year, our Sunday School teachers organized an All Saint’s Day Party for our fall activity on Saturday, October 29th.

Children came dressed as their favorite Saint, on this warm, sunny day, to church. The day’s activities consisted of an Archery Station run by Joshua Sunheim, races and outdoor games run by Maria Justice.  Inside the Fellowship Hall, Jessica Bikas ran the craft tables, where children could Make a Halo, Paint a Magnet, Decorate a Treat and Make a Prayer Rope (or bead necklace.)  Thank you to her two volunteers in helping to run the craft stations, David and Amon Rice.  Parents and children could also relax and have refreshments provided by several volunteers (special thank you to Tamara Taylor & Lisa Sundheim for helping set up, decorate cupcakes, take pictures, etc.)

The day’s events were kicked off by Saints Lesson with Father Stavros followed by an All Saint’s Treasure Hunt organized by Kristin Pavelski.  There was also a picture taking station set-up by Lara Poulous and beautiful portraits of our little Saints and families provided by Joey Berkley.

A special thank you goes out to Father and to everyone who donated candy, pumpkins and decorations for the event.
